Radio Cristo Tirando Las Redes De La Fe
La Comisión de Justicia y Paz de la Conferencia Episcopal Venezolana (CEV) denunció la masacre perpetrada por fuerzas militares el 15 de enero en la que perdieron la vida un grupo de personas en la búsqueda de Oscar Pérez.
Pérez fue un policía y piloto venezolano que se rebeló contra el régimen del Presidente Nicolás Maduro, atacando en 2017 edificios del gobierno desde un helicóptero.
La CEV manifestó, a través de un comunicado emitido este jueves 18 de enero, que “la vida humana es siempre sagrada, válida e inviolable”, en relación a “las ejecuciones extrajudiciales y muertes de civiles” denunciadas.
“Este acto nos pone ante la degradación e irrespeto de la dignidad y los derechos humanos atinentes a cualquier persona. Existen una serie de evidencias que requieren ser investigadas y explicadas razonablemente a los familiares y a toda la comunidad venezolana”, explicaron.
Acerca de las evidencias se refirieron a la “falta de resolución pacífica de conflicto frente a un caso de solicitud de entrega, la ausencia de fiscales en el procedimiento, la utilización de grupos civiles armados”.
En ese sentido la CEV exigió al Estado que las violaciones contra los Derechos Humanos sean investigadas “con la mayor prontitud y objetividad” por las instancias públicas competentes.
Además, instaron a la Fiscalía General que entregue a los familiares los cuerpos de los fallecidos evitando la cremación, para que se determine la causa de la muerte; a los Tribunales que garanticen las evidencias del operativo; y a los Poderes Públicos que recuerden su deber que tienen de garantizar justicia.
Por otro lado, también exhortaron a los ciudadanos a “no acostumbrarse” a la “multiplicación de los casos de muertes no aclaradas ni investigadas, a la barbarie”.
Finalmente, los obispos invitaron a todos los creyentes en Cristo intensifiquen la “oración al Señor de la vida por las víctimas, por los familiares y por Venezuela”.
“A fin que nos conceda a todos los venezolanos la sabiduría necesaria para encontrar caminos de Justicia, de verdad y de paz”, concluyeron.
